The fourth Asian Tyre & Rubber Conference (ATRC 2017) has lined up a high profile league of industry leaders as speakers, including Erich Nesselhauf, Managing Director and CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (DICV). Nesselhauf will be among the Distinguished Speakers in the Inaugural Session of the conference on the morning of June 16, 2017. Organised by Asian Business Media (ABM), publishers of Tyre Asia, Rubber Asia and Autoparts Asia, the June 16-17 event at Hyatt Regency, Chennai, India, is now on the homestretch of its countdown.

Nesselhauf has handled global green field assignments in various countries in Europe and Asia with multicultural exposure. Prior to assuming the role of the Managing Director and CEO of DICV, he held the responsibility for the supply chain management function at DICV.
With his deep-rooted knowledge in all functions of supply chain, Nesselhaouf put together an efficient supplier base for the company and ensured products achieved localisation levels of over 85%.
He is a member of the Truck Asia Executive Committee. In his role as member of the Daimler Truck Group Procurement management team, Nesselhauf defines and implements global procurement processes and policies, performance management and tracking, as well as emerging market sourcing guidelines. Additionally, he coordinates all non-production material sourcing decisions.
Born on March 8, 1963, Nesselhauf has been Managing Director and CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. since April 2014, and is thus responsible for the strategic leadership of Daimler’s commercial vehicle activities in India.
