The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company named Maureen Thune as its chief procurement officer, succeeding Mark Purtilar who retires from the company. Thune will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of all raw materials, equipment, supplies and services across the company globally.
Thune has served in a variety of financial leadership roles with Goodyear since 2009, most recently as vice president of internal audit. Prior to Goodyear, she was chief financial officer of CORT Furniture Rental.
Maureen is from Akron. After graduating from the Ohio State University with a BSBA in Accounting, she moved to Washington DC and worked for KPMG as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant).
