Stage is set for the 17th International Exhibition of Rubber Technology (RubberTech China 2017) being organised by the China United Rubber Corporation (CURC) at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from September 20 to 22, 2017.
The International Exhibition on Tire and Aftermarket 2017 Expo (Tire+ Expo), the new version of Reifen China, will take place concurrently with RubberTech China at the same venue. Tire+ is organised jointly by CURC and China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA).
Reifen China had previously been organised by Messe Esse in partnership with CURC, but after Messe Essen licensed the Reifen China name to Messe Frankfurt, who in turn have opted to use the brand on a tyre pavilion within the large Automechanika Shanghai event, CURC decided to go it alone and produce a new show – Tire+ Expo, jointly with CRIA.
With the rapid growth in the international rubber industry, RubberTech China has become a leading professional rubber exhibition with about 600 exhibitors and over 40,000sqm exhibiting area.
Exhibitors of RubberTech China come from 30 different countries and regions, involving rubber machinery, rubber chemicals, rubber raw materials and rubber products.
It is no doubt a must-attend event within the entire rubber industry. The exhibition is open for professionals in the industry with no admission fee.
Tire+ builds on the newly-strengthened partnership between CURC and CRIA which brings with it significant influence amongst Chinese tyremakers and a more domestic market orientation. The exhibition aims at fulfilling the demands for sales expansion in the OEM aftermarket, public and logistics transportation and after-sale replacement market. Tire + is combining the upstream with the downstream industry by organizing diversified activities to meet various needs from automobile manufacturers, bus group, delivering and transportation enterprises, workshop owners, oversea buyers and car owners.
Outstanding enterprises with global influence in the tyre, wheel rim and aftermarket industries will attend. The exhibition involves globally top 75 tyre manufacturers (including foreign and joint venture companies, domestic enterprises, Chinese labeled manufacturers), global tyre dealers, chain store owners, self-managed retailers, E-commerce platforms, workshop suppliers, tyre proving ground owners and other representatives of the automotive aftermarket industry.
The tyre majors exhibiting at the event include China National Tire & Rubber Corp; Double Coin Holdings Ltd.; Shandong Yinbao Tyre Group Co. Ltd.; Shandog Linglong Tyre Co. Ltd.; Qingdao Sentury Tire Ltd.; Prinx Chengshan (Shandong) Tire Company Ltd.; Zhongce Rubber Group Co. Ltd.; Sailun Jinyu Group; Triangle Tyre Co. Ltd.; Guizhou Tyre Co. Ltd.; Shandong Wanda Boto Tyre Co. Ltd.; and Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum Group Rubber Co. Ltd.
Tire + will showcase several topics, including Chinese tyre labeling, China tyre safety week, and a future tyre display. Panels will discuss the role of tyres in the OEM market, distribution channels, replacing aftermarket, consumer buying behaviors and after-sales maintenance, the organizers say.
