ANRPC expects total NR-output to rise marginally at the rate of 3.2% to 10.450 million tonnes during 2012, slightly higher than the rate expected previously. The upward revision results from a higher anticipated output of NR by Vietnam from 812,000 tonnes to 845,000 tonnes in 2012. However, the NR output is expected to grow only at the rate of 0.3%, from 2.359 million tonnes to 2.369 million tonnes for Q1 2012, as most producing countries are entering into wintering season and hence the production condition would be tighter in next 2 months.
