Now into its 4th successful edition, the conference is one of the most anticipated events on tyre and rubber manufacturing technology.
The 4th edition of Asian Tyre and Rubber Conference (ATRC), Asia’s premier and most awaited biennial tyre and rubber event to be held from June 16-17, 2017, in Chennai, India’s most flourishing auto, tyre and auto-parts industry hub, has evoked tremendous response from the national and international tyre and rubber community.
This time much attention is paid to building an outstanding conference program that provides a real-world experience and solutions. Organised by Tyre Asia and powered by Asian Business Media (ABM), the two-day event combines dedicated special presentations, keynote addresses and panel discussions.

ATRC 2015, the previous edition of the event, concluded on a grand scale laying the stress on a concerted effort to ensure sustainability – both economic and environmental – while focusing on innovative technology in pursuing growth. The third edition turned out to be Asia’s biggest tyre industry convergence. The event, lived up to the reputation of all concerned and was widely acclaimed for the quality of the presentations, speakers and overall organisational efficiency.
ATRC 2015 laid stress on a concerted effort to ensure sustainability – both economic and environmental – while focusing on innovative technology in pursuing growth. Speakers included leading experts from Bridgestone, Hyundai, VMI Holland and a range of renowned global companies, tyre industry organisations and universities. The theme, Technological &Innovative Excellence in Green Manufacturing for Sustainable Growth, sparked off highly interesting presentations and interactions that spread across six Technical Sessions on June 12 and 13, 2015.
Former Chief of the Indian Army and Chairman, Chief of Staff, General Bikram Singh PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM (Retd.) inaugurated the two-day conference at Hyatt Regency in Chennai, India. His inspiring talk on corporate leadership set the tone of the conference. Harm Voortman, CEO of VMI Netherlands, Ashoke Karmokar of Bridgestone, Japan, MP Kanjolia, JK Tyre and Industries, T.
