The Plastics & Rubber Institute Malaysia (PRIM) is oranising a two-day seminar on Environmental Management for Rubber Industry at Lee Foundation Hall, PRIM Building, Mah Sing Integrated Industrial Park, Shah Alam, Malaysia, from December 13-14, 2018.
This Seminar is aimed at introducing some aspects of environmental management with regard to the rubber industry. Representatives from DOE and consultants on environmental management systems have been invited to give lectures. The seminar will be particularly beneficial to managers, chemists, supervisors and technical personnel who are directly or indirectly involved in environmental management related to rubber industry.
The seminar will cover topics such as Implementation of the Environmental Quality Regulations (Sewage, Industrial Effluent, Clean Air and Scheduled Wastes), Overview of Waste Management and Recycling Activities in the Malaysian Rubber Industry, Green processing, advance wastewater treatment and water
recycling options and waste utilization technologies, Sustainable Water Management in Rubber Industry, Handling, storage and disposal of solid waste for the rubber products manufacturing industry etc.
