To strengthen its position in the global market, Indian Specialty oils and lubricants leader Gandhar Oil Refinery India Ltd, known as Gandhar Oil, is establishing a state-of-the-art integrated plant in Dubai, UAE.
The Dubai plant, named Texol Lubritech FZC (joint venture), is being built in Hamriyah Free Zone over an area of 2,000 sqm and will have a capacity of 50,000 MT/ annum in a single shift and has provision to double the capacity in the second-stage expansion, the company says.
The plant will churn out a complete range of White Oils, LLP, HLP, Transformer Oils, Rubber Processing Oils, Industrial and Automotive Lubricants to cater to the growing demand of automobile, cosmetic, pharma, rubber, transformer and other industries from Middle East, Africa, India and GCC countries.
Gandhar oil has appointed renowned consultancy firms to make the plant state-of-the-art from automation to manufacturing process. Alllen Bradley Rockwell of USA has been appointed for automation, while Arya Engineers & Consultants of India is taking care of process consultancy and Capital Engineering Consultancy of UAE is the engineering consultant.
Gandhar oil is also establishing a 4,000 sq ft QC Lab and Research and Development Centre at the plant, the company adds.
