Kolkata, India based Himadri Speciality Chemical Limited has launched new carbon black grade ‘Tyre Gold Plus’ to enhance the performance (extra mileage) of treads and improve the brand value. The company is again bringing the special product (carbon black – TYRE GOLD series) for the tread rubber application to make retreading cost more attractive to the customers as the difference between the price of the new tyre and retreaded tyre is becoming narrower. The new product was launched at the general body meeting of All Kerala Tread Rubber Manufacturers Association (AKTRMA) in Angamaly, Kerala recently.

The company technology team through constant interacting with the Tread Rubber Manufacturers and visiting those customers and finally through their extensive innovative research work in their DSIR approved and NABL accredited Labs, have customised this new grade called as “TYRE GOLD PLUS” keeping in mind the requirement of our tread rubber customers.

Himadri Speciality Chemical is a speciality carbon black company which started its carbon black business way back in 2009 and has increased its capacity from initial 50,000 MT/ annum to 120,000 MT/annum and now it is going to further increase its capacity to 200,000 MT/annum. The new two lines will exclusively produce speciality blacks for tyres, industrial rubber products, plastics and coating applications and it will be the biggest SPECIALITY Carbon Black Plant under the single roof in the world, says the company.
