Indian Rubber Board has started a Rubber Tapping Skill Development School at Amayannoor in Kottayam, Kerala. C. A few seats are left for the first batch of training on ‘Rubber Latex Harvesting and processing’ at the Tapping Training Centre. Those who are desirous to join the programme may reach at the Training Centre with the photocopies of their Aadhar Card and the first page of the Bank Pass Book. Growers who wish to tap their trees as their own can also undergo this training, Rubber Board said.
The training duration will be thirty working-days. Rubber Board will award Course Certificate along with Rs.100 per day as a stipend to those trainees who are successfully completing the training programme. For details- 0481- 2421532.
